Our last day in the Okanagan exposed me to two more places that barely registered with me when I lived there – Mission Hill Winery and the Kettle Valley Railway.

We enjoyed six minutes of the bells ringing at Mission Hill, had some magnificent wine tastes served to us by Santa Tom and Mary and Alana chose a few bottles for us to sample further at dinner.

A late afternoon stroll on the KVR from trestles 18 to 11 was magnificently complete with sunshine, a cool breeze, and a few ground squirrels to boot!

To top of the evening, we had a lovely trout dinner with Mom and Tony and hit the hay early for our long journey to Jasper the next day.
